Cookie notice
Gearpress uses only cookies that are needed to provide a feature you request, keep the service secure or remember your delivery region. We do not currently set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner.
Cookies we set
- gearpress_basket: links your browser to its basket. Expires after 30 days.
- gp_customer_session: keeps you signed in after you ask to sign in. It can last up to 90 days and expires after 30 days without use.
- gearpress_paypal_return: securely matches the PayPal return journey to your order. Expires after 6 hours and is cleared after use.
- gearpress_market: remembers whether you selected the UK, EU or elsewhere, so the store can show the right regional information. Expires after one year.
The cookies contain opaque identifiers or a region code, not payment card data. They use security controls including HttpOnly, SameSite and Secure where the site runs over HTTPS.
Your controls
You can remove these cookies with your browser settings. Removing a basket or session cookie may empty the basket in that browser or sign you out. If we add optional analytics or advertising technology later, we will update this notice and ask for consent before setting it where consent is required.
